I enjoy most music! I am not very pick when it comes to listening to music. When I comes to genres, I don't listen to country, jazz, blues, rock and roll, heavy metal, and others as well. I enjoy music with a beat. I don't pay attention to lyrics usually, I follow the flow of music. I listen to mainly dubstep (different people refer it as different things) that has a somewhat motivational theme. A beat that makes you want to try harder, feel better, pumps you up. I love to listen to this type of music, especially when playing sports, or working out, even when just working on homework or other school assignments. It focuses me to what I am trying to achieve. I don't have any specific artists I favor, mainly just follow the genre.
I find Youtube to be a very source of where i find music i enjoy
NoCopyrightSounds is one of my favorite channels that release the type of music I listen too. I found them a few years ago and have been listening to them since.
I listen to other genres, essentially I can listening to anything on the local radio, or when with friends, I enjoy the music they listen too. I enjoy rap as well, which I listen to usually when just hanging out or relaxing.
Music Impacts my life and culture tremendously. It can define your personality and give someone an image of what you are like. I would not be the person I am today if I listened to very different types of music.

I don't necessarily live one single culture. Some might say the "Mexican Culture," the "Humboldt lifestyle," the "American Culture," or the "Teenager lifestyle." I typically follow all four in one way or the other. For the most part, I am proud of where I from and the way of life I live in. I'm Mexican, and an American citizen. I have freedom of speech, religion, with the opportunity for decent education and medical care for all. We are all equals as citizens. These are all pros.
Everything has a limit thought. I may speech but with consequences, mainly given the title of disrespectful. I may represent my religion but will usually be assumed to be a thug. With education and even being "smart" it doesn't release you from pay 10's of thousands of dollars for college nor does it instantly mean you have a job/future in society. In most cases, if you are not rich, with perfect credit, etc. insurance isn't much help either. Because I'm Mexican I'm loud, dirty, poor, etc. Because I'm from Humboldt I do drugs. Because I'm American I'm Free, and have an close to perfect life. Because I'm a teenager I'm reckless and ignorant. The fact that we are all classified by classes doesn't not bother me. Is it all the assumptions made by people that affect everything and everyone around us.

My Name is Alejandro (Alex) Ramirez, I'm 15 years old and a sophomore at Fortuna Union High School. I was born and raised in Fortuna, Ca my whole life. The area I live in has somewhat nice weather and climate. It is a small town which makes it fun to walk around in with friends to get food or go to the park and so on.
I love to travel even though... I've never really been out of California, except for once in Mexico (I'm Hispanic), but it does very much interest me to travel around the USA, even the world if possible.
This year I'm loading myself with all the advanced classes that are available to me, taking before school classes and an online course after school to learn French (we'll see how that goes...). At the moment I'm very dependent on school for a future career for the reasons that I'm not sure on what i want to do when i grow up. Any talents I do have don't pay well and I usually don't see myself doing them for the rest of my life.
